Hendra Hoang is the Co-Founder of Venture Weavers, where he offers his proven ability to balance technical depth with exceptional clarity to new founders in the life sciences seeking to create an investable business. Hendra is a seasoned medical device advisor and startup mentor who began his career by working directly with early-stage medical device startups founded by non-traditional life science entrepreneurs - having worked in both business development and regulatory strategy, he understands the unique challenges of navigating regulatory approval, clinical validation, and market access from diverse professional perspectives.

 

He then served as a venture associate for Houston Angel Network, where he evaluated hundreds of early-stage medical device companies and used his keen insight into the complexities of life science innovation to inform hundreds of thousands of dollars in early stage angel investments. In addition, he was responsible for supporting the education of new angel investors, providing mentorship and training in how to systematically evaluate new life science ventures.Beyond his current work with Venture Weavers, Hendra lends his expertise to prestigious entrepreneurship programs like TMC Biodesign, Nucleate Global Activator, and Startup Prize. He has guided dozens of scientist-entrepreneurs through the complex journey from bench to bedside, helping them translate their breakthroughs into business.
